YEREVAN. - Armenian authorities wanted to frighten everyone by the arrest of activist Vardges Gaspari.

Armenia’s Heritage Party faction MP Zaruhi Postanjyan stated the aforesaid in the parliament today.

According to her, Gaspari was arrested for nothing but telling the truth.

“Gapsari reminded that 46 out of 47 verdicts of the Armenian judicial system were ruled invalid in the Strasbourg Court. But the Armenian judges don’t care about this, since they have neither pride nor dignity. This is what Gaspari was saying, and he was telling the truth: the Ombudsman’s report mentions this. But the authorities brought charges against him, and then arrested the activist. They arrested him to keep him in a prison ward so that our citizens can’t even think of something like that,” Postanjyan stressed.
