YEREVAN. - Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, who is also the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Vice Chairman, may continue his activity within a party.

Ashotyan made the aforementioned implication today while talking to the journalists in the parliament.

“During the seven years of my being in the post of a Minister, 70 percent of the press questions were political, and we will certainly continue communicating here,” Ashotyan assured.

To the question on what he meant by mentioning that his new work would be within a radius of 1 km from the old one and whether he was implying the RPA headquarters, Ashotyan responded: “Wait, and soon you’ll learn everything.”

The RPA and Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun are expected to sign a coalition agreement tonight. ARF Dashnaktutyun member Levon Mkrtchyan, who assumed that post several times before, will replace him in that post.
