The 32-year-old man, who on Monday jumped off from the fourth floor of the Vagharshapat Medical Center in Armavir Province in Armenia, is in stable but critical condition, the medical center staff told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The man has sustained fractures, and he is in the intensive care unit.

“We don’t know the details of the incident,” the hospital staff added. “We don’t know why he took such a step.”

The man had been admitted to hospital with lacerations to his forearm. Before the doctors could render him medical assistance, however, he had thrown himself from fourth-floor window of the medical center.
