Armenians and the indigenous people of Azerbaijan have coinciding interests. 

Talysh movement leader Fakhraddin Aboszoda on Saturday stated the aforesaid at a roundtable discussion devoted to the native people of Azerbaijan. 

Aboszoda took part in the talk via videoconference.

In his words, however, not all the indigenous people living in Azerbaijan are ready to wage a real struggle for their rights.

He stressed that the respective fighting spirit is not high enough among the Avars and the Lezgins, whereas the situation is different among the Talysh.  

But Fakhraddin Aboszoda added that Russia and Iran have their own interests in Azerbaijan, and therefore they will not act against Azerbaijan in a heightened manner.
