YEREVAN. – The rights of consumers in Armenia will be protected also during e-commerce.

The respective draft amendments to the Armenian Civil Code were approved at Thursday’s Cabinet session.

Accordingly, it is proposed that the Armenian consumers’ right to return a quality non-food product within 14 days of its purchase be applied to e-commerce, too.

But this right shall be protected solely if the said product is not used, the consumer qualities are maintained, and there is a proof of purchase.

The list of products not subject to return will be approved separately.
