YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday received head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Andrey Sorokin, who is ending his mission in Armenia.

Sargsyan thanked Sorokin for his activeness during his tenure in Armenia. He noted that, under Sorokin’s leadership, the OSCE Office in Yerevan has carried out productive work and implemented numerous projects, the Presidential Press Office informed.

Also, Serzh Sargsyan expressed the hope that the new head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan will work with the same diligence and willingness for cooperation, and will further strengthen relations between Armenia and the OSCE Office in Yerevan.

Ambassador Sorokin, for his part, thanked the Armenian state agencies’ high confidence in and effective cooperation with the OSCE Office in Yerevan. He noted that a solid foundation and good preconditions have been created for carrying out further close cooperation and implementing new projects between Armenia and the OSCE Office in Yerevan.
