STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, on Friday convoked an enlarged consultation with the heads and representatives of law enforcement and power structures of the country.

The fight against crime, maintenance of public order, and the tasks set before and future plans by the structures engaged in this process were discussed at the consultation, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Also, heads of the relevant agencies delivered respective reports and speeches.

In his remarks, President Sahakyan noted that the efficiency of law enforcement and the power system activity depend both on the work by individual structures and the level of their interaction.

He stressed that not a single crime should remain unpunished, and that this requires from the workers of all these structures an appropriate level of professionalism, adherence to principles, and precise performance of their duties.

Bako Sahakyan added that all criminal acts should be considered unacceptable by the society.

NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghulyan, Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan, and several other officials also attended the talk.
