Consultation on the issue of restoration work on emergency sections of Arpa-Sevan tunnel took place in the Armenian Government today under the chairmanship of Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamayn.

The process of implementing the decisions of the Armenian Government, specifically the one on drawing out design and estimate documentation of separate emergency sections of Arpa-Sevan tunnel were discussed, the Government press-service reports.

The issue on water diversion into Lake Sevan via Arpa-Sevan tunnel, as well as organization of construction work were touched on.

The PM considered it necessary to implement the work on the tunnel reconstruction as soon as possible, which will contribute to raising the tunnel productivity. In this respect, the PM gave corresponding instructions to those in charge.
