On September 20, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Executive Vice Premier of People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang. The Chinese official highly appreciated the present Armenia-China relations.
In his turn, Armenian Premier stressed the great potential for the bilateral economic collaboration. Referring to the experience of the Shanxi-Nairit joint venture, Sargsyan attached importance of the implementation of joint projects, particularly in the spheres of basalt production, tourism and agriculture, as well as the suitability of direct flights.
The officials also discussed cooperation issues in transportation, particularly in the railway sector. Both sides emphasized that China’s cultural days in Armenia will contribute to the expansion of mutual ties.
Li Keqiang underlined that Armenia and China closely cooperate in political and humanitarian spheres. He expressed hope the bilateral relations will come to a new level due to joint activities.
Chinese Vice Premier congratulated the RA Government on Armenia’s Independence Day.
