YEREVAN. – Air Armenia airline has not yet paid its debts to Zvartnots International Airport in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, Airport Commercial Director Gagik Tovmasyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“You know that this company is in the process of liquidation; it also has other debts,” Tovmasyan stated. “As for us, the attorneys are dealing with the debt repayment schedule.”

The Zvartnots representative, however, did not mention the amount of this debt.

The other airlines, which Zvartnots Airport serves, only to have current debts.

“The other companies don’t have overdue debts,” Gagik Tovmasyan added.

In August 2015, Air Armenia announced that it received $68 million in securities to its balance. But in November, the court declared this airline bankrupt. In February of the current year, however, Air Armenia presented a restructuring plan.
