YEREVAN. – The Russian media have disseminated information not only on Armenia’s armaments, but also of Azerbaijan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan stated on Thursday.
He noted this commenting, at the request of reporters, on the publicizing—in Military-Industrial Courier weekly newspaper of Russia—of the list of Armenia’s military equipment received from Russia.
In Kocharyan’s words, if the presented data are confidential, it is very difficult to assess whether they are accurate.
And to the query on whether the Russian media publicize similar lists also regarding the weaponry of Azerbaijan, the Armenian deputy FM responded: “We already know [this] in the case of Azerbaijan, and it is publicized also in the Russian press as to what it [i.e. Azerbaijan] got and gets [from Russia].”
