YEREVAN. - The art of Persian miniature is very popular, Director of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, Majid Mola-Nourozi, said today at a press-conference held on occasion of the exhibition “Art of Persian miniature” kicked off in Yerevan.
In his words, thanks to this art one can get familiar with the Iranian literature and culture. “The miniature art of Iran is the totality of all this. Its colors are very peaceful and bright. We are sure that such exhibitions lead to a dialogue which in its turn contributes to a political dialogue. Considering numerous similarities between Armenia and Iran, I must say that in some sense we are late in this cooperation,” Majid Mola-Nourozi noted.
The two peoples, he continued, must get familiar with works of art in both countries. “I hope that the Armenian painters will also be presented in Iran,” the director added.
