YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 490.63/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is down by AMD 0.27 from Thursday, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 545.19 (up by AMD 6.82), that of one British pound was AMD 700.77 (up by AMD 3.40), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 6.99 (up by AMD 0.06).

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 240.87, AMD 19,977.92 and AMD 15,442.86, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 100,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 491/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 491/$1.
