YEREVAN. – Armenian Ambassador Artashes Tumanyan met with governor Hossein Hashemi of Tehran Province of Iran.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Ambassador Tumanyan underscored the ties between the provinces of the two countries, and expressed readiness to assist in the development of relations with Tehran Province.
At the ensuing talk, the Armenian diplomat reflected on bilateral cooperation, and stressed civil aviation as a respective example.
Also, the interlocutors spoke about the opportunities for collaboration in information technology and several other economic domains.
Governor of the Tehran Province, for his part, noted that ever since the lifting of international sanctions on Iran, favorable conditions have been created for the development of bilateral economic relations.
Also, Hashemi underscored the development of tourism, expansion of cultural ties, organizing of exhibitions, and implementation of several other cooperation projects.
