The House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress voted 392 to 3 to approve a resolution urging the White House to call on the UN Security Council to immediately establish a Syrian war crimes tribunal.
The tribunal will judge those who have violated the international law and have committed crimes against humanity, Channel News Asia reported.
“The purpose of what is happening in Iraq and Syria is a deliberate, systematic targeting of religious and ethnic minorities,” Speaker of the US House of Representatives Paul Ryan noted
