YEREVAN. - The draft Electoral Code provision on the restriction of the number of journalists and observers at electoral districts is subject to discussion and, of course, changing.

Head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction Vahram Baghdasaryam told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am after the meeting of the party representatives with the experts of the Venice Commission and OSCE/ODIHR delegation.

In his words, this provision is not an imperative. Baghdasaryan also added that at the meeting the RPA representatives raised the issue on the two lists - nationwide and territorial - mentioned in the draft Electoral Code.

According to the MP, the international experts of the Venice Commission and OSCE/ODIHR noted that they saw no problem here.
