YEREVAN. – Armanis gold-polymetallic mine in northern Armenia will be developed at the earliest opportunity, Global Metals company CEO Garen Ghazaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

To note, world copper prices have increased since early February.

“Now, it’s difficult to say in what price conditions our product can be completely profitable,” Ghazaryan stated. “But I can say one thing: our company is doing everything possible not to lose employees (…) I think, we convinced the public in environmental issues, also.”

Global Metals is a part of the Russian “Neva-Rus” Holding, which manages two mines in Armenia: Armanis gold-polymetallic mine, and Dastakert copper-molybdenum mine.
