The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia delegation in Brussels continues its work within the framework of the 5th Plenary Session of the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly.
Ruling Republican Party of Armenia MP Artak Zakaryan, who is also Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and is currently in the Belgian capital city, on Tuesday wrote the aforesaid on his Facebook account.
“At the morning session of the Bureau, I expressed our resentment over what happened, expressing support to the relatives of the victims of the terrorism that occurred at the Brussels airport and subway,” Zakaryan also wrote.
He added that everything is fine with the Armenian parliamentary delegation.
According preliminary information, 13 people were killed and more than 35 others were injured in the explosions that occurred Tuesday morning at Brussels Zaventem airport. All flights are canceled, and the airport has been closed off.
In addition, close to 15 people died and 55 others were injured in the blast that occurred on the same day at Maalbeek station of the Brussels subway system. This station is located 500 meters from the European Union buildings.
