The investigation into the accident involving a Yerevan-bound bus in Russia’s Tula Oblast (province), has been completed, attorney for the accused driver, Ruben Kirakosyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
In his words, the case materials consist of fourteen volumes. “We have one month for getting familiar with them. Then we will most probably make a motion, since we don’t agree that [the bus driver] Garnik Harutyunyan is guilty of the accident,” the attorney noted.
The bus belonged to King Deluxe company.
Nine people were killed and over forty others were injured as a passenger bus, which was traveling from Moscow to Yerevan, crashed on 3 November 2015, in Tula Oblast.
Both Armenia and Russia have opened criminal cases into this tragic road accident.
The bus driver, Garnik Harutyunyan, is under arrest.
