Belgian Federal Prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw has ascertained the number of the injured as a result of the Brussels blasts, Le Mond reports.
According to Leeuw, 270 people have been injured as a result of the terror attacks.
As per the earlier reports, the terror acts had claimed 31 lives and injured over 250 people.
Two explosions occurred Tuesday morning at Brussels Zaventem airport. The Belgian prosecutor’s office confirmed that a suicide bomber had carried out this attack. Shortly thereafter, there were more explosions in the Schuman and Maalbeek subway stations of the Belgian capital city.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
