Vice-Premier of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration, Co-Chairman of the Armenian-Egyptian Intergovernmental Commission Armen Gevorgyan held a meeting Sept. 22 with Egyptian Deputy Foreign Minister, Secretary General of the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with the CIS Someya Saadi.
The press service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration informed NEWS.am that Minster Gevorgyan expressed hope that the Commission’s sitting to be held late this year will afford new opportunities for cooperation.
Ms. Saadi pointed out that the Egyptian side is ready to consider the Armenian side’s proposals for expanding the activities of the Fund for Technical Cooperation. She underlined the importance of retraining programs for specialists working in the energy and tourist industries, as well as in other fields.
In the context of Armenian-Egyptian cultural relations, the sides pointed out the Days of Armenian Culture being held in Egypt.
