YEREVAN. – Armenia will receive 19 million 35 thousand drams (approx. US$40 thousand) from the Council of Europe, and for acquiring electronic devices to oversee prisoners.
The respective draft grant agreement was approved at Thursday’s meeting of the Armenian Cabinet.
Within the framework of a pilot project, the effectiveness of monitoring Armenia’s prisoners will be tested with the help of electronic control devices.
