Turkey is attempting to torpedo the ceasefire and exacerbate the situation in Syria, Russian Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko stated, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
In her words, Turkey continues to open fire on the Kurdish population, albeit this is prohibited by the UN Security Council resolutions.
Matviyenko noted that the objective of this policy is apparent: someone cannot be reconciled with the fact that global oil production and sales have dropped.
