YEREVAN. – The fire, which broke out Friday at Dvin Hotel building in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, has been put out.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed from the scene that the fire and rescue workers managed to localize the fire within 12 minutes.

There are no casualties or injuries.

The fire had started at the hotel parking lot, where construction is underway.

“According to preliminary data, seven meters of Styrofoam was burnt,” Garegin Hakobyan, head of the rapid response team, told reporters. 

As reported earlier, Dvin Hotel is not a functioning establishment that provides accommodation for travelers and tourists.
