Who said that the situation related to the candidates from one and the same party will get more complicated with the rating voting system, Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MP Hrant Davtyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

“It’s still early to speak about this. It’s necessary to get familiar with the new order. Who says that everything will get more complicated this way?” said Davtyan. In fact, the latter has been elected according to the majority system.  

“I think the more people the territorial lists include, the more the party will benefit from this. And the MP who will enter the parliament will be the ones who will win many votes. This is normal,” the MP added.

Another PAP MP, Lyova Khachatryan, holds a different view with this regard.  Khachatryan considers this election system as a hidden majority one, and is sure that it will result in hostile relations between the party members.
