YEREVAN. – The Armenian parliamentary delegation, which was participating in the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly session in Brussels, has returned to Armenia on Friday evening.

The secretary of Armenia’s opposition “Heritage” National Assembly Faction, Tevan Poghosyan, who is also a member of this delegation, on Saturday told about the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“We went to Frankfurt[, Germany,] by car, from where we flew to Moscow and came to [Armenia’s capital city of] Yerevan,” he said.

As reported earlier, the said Armenian delegation was looking for ways to return home from the Belgian capital city, since the Brussels airport is closed due to the acts of terrorism that occurred there.

Two explosions occurred Tuesday morning at Brussels Zaventem airport. The Belgian prosecutor’s office confirmed that a suicide bomber had carried out this attack.

Shortly thereafter, there were more explosions in the Schuman and Maalbeek subway stations of the Belgian capital city.

These terrorist acts have claimed over 30 lives and injured more than 300 people.
