Maleyka Shirinova, a 58-year-old resident of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh District, attempted to throw herself under a train at a subway station in capital city Baku, according to Yeni Müsavat daily newspaper of the country.

But the woman hit the windscreen of the subway train, and after the impact, she fell onto the train tracks, instead of the platform of the subway station.

As a result, the woman was badly injured, and she was rushed to hospital.

An investigation is underway regarding this incident.
