Russian journalist Alexander Ribin could be put on the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ (MFA) persona non grata “blacklist” of foreigners who are banned from entering the country, the ministry informed. 

The reason is that Ribin had visited the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) without informing the Azerbaijani side.

“Now, the Azerbaijan MFA is conducting an investigation into this fact,” head of the press service of Azerbaijan MFA, Hikmet Haciyev, told the aforesaid to Vesti.Az news agency of the country.

Ribin’s report on NKR had aroused great interest.
