YEREVAN. – The other opposition forces have not yet joined the action plan of power change of the “New Armenia” Public Salvation Front, “New Armenia” representative Varuzhan Avetisyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

“For the plan to work, wide consolidation of political forces is first needed. If there is no first step of consolidation, the rest won’t follow either. This is the logic of the plan,” he said.

In Avetisyan’s words, the implementation of the action plan requires working with other political forces. The Armenian National Congress (ANC), Civil Contract Party, Union of National Self-Determination and others are among the potential partners, but they have had no news from them yet.

“We will hold discussions, meetings and talks; everything is still in the preliminary stage,” Avetisyan said, stressing that if the consolidation fails, the action plan will have to be reviewed. “It’s not that if there is no consolidation, there will be nothing. This is not the end yet,” Avetisyan said.

Several days ago “New Armenia” Front published its action plan on power change, where it called for peaceful civil disobedience (blocking administrative buildings, roads and streets).
