YEREVAN. – The Armenian embassy in Moscow is in constant touch with the attorneys of Garnik Harutyunyan, the defendant in the case involving the Armenian bus crash in Russia.

“Garnik Harutyunyan is under our constant attention,” the embassy staff informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. “Garnik Harutyunyan has no dissatisfaction with, complaints about his prison conditions, health situation.”

The investigation into this case is over, and the trial is expected to get underway in May.

Nine people were killed and over forty others were injured as a passenger bus, which was traveling from Moscow to Yerevan, crashed on November 3, 2015 in Tula Oblast (province) in Russia.

A criminal case was opened into this tragic road accident.

The bus driver, Garnik Harutyunyan, was placed under arrest.
