YEREVAN. – Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, visited Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) citizen Arsen Baghdasaryan, who is held captive in Azerbaijan.
The communications officer of the ICRC Yerevan Office—in Armenia’s capital city—, Zara Amatuni, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the visit took place on Tuesday.
During the visit, Baghdasaryan was given the opportunity to exchange family information.
NKR citizen Arsen Baghdasaryan was taken into Azerbaijani captivity on December 26, 2014. And within the framework of a hastily concocted case, he was charged with “sabotage” and sentenced to fifteen years in a maximum security prison.
