YEREVAN. - The Armenian National Congress (ANC) is against the introduction of any electronic system into the election process.
Head of the parliamentary ANC faction, Levon Zurabyan, said the aforementioned today at the open meeting with the representatives of government, opposition and civil society, during which draft Electoral Code of Armenia was discussed.
In his words, ANC had created a technologic group, which studied the application of those technologies in different countries.
“We were precisely told that their introduction and full application requires 2-3 years, and any serious specialist will refuse to guarantee that the electronic system will function properly during a year,” Zurabyan said.
