Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II has delivered an address in connection with the military actions launched by the Azerbaijani armed forces on the night of April 1 to April 2 all along the Karabakh-Azerbaijani Line of Contact, targeting settlements and civilian population.  

According to the Catholicos, the continuous provocations and military actions by Azerbaijan hinder the stability in the region and undermine the efforts towards the conflict normalization.   

“We urge the international community, specifically the countries involved in the normalization of the Karabakh conflict, to prevent the encroachments of Azerbaijan towards Nagorno-Karabakh,” he said.
