The Secretary-General of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha, had another phone call today with the Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and FM Edward Nalbandian on the settlement of Karabakh conflict, CSTO spokesman Vladimir Zainetdinov told Interfax-AVN.

“New talks were held today between the CSTO Secretary-General and Armenian Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs, during which the situation in the conflict zone was discussed,” Zainetdinov said.  

He stressed that the CSTO is in constant touch with the Armenian leadership and receives exhausting information on the developments.

Both sides have suffered losses as a result of the second day of continuing large-scale military actions against Nagorno-Karabakh. According to the latest information, the Azerbaijani side has suffered over 200 casualties. The Karabakh forces have reported about destroying two Azerbaijani helicopters, five tanks, two drones and one infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). The Armenian side suffered 18 casualties, nearly 40 soldiers having been wounded. There are also wounded among the civilian population. A 12-year-old boy was killed, two other children were wounded as a result of firing from Grad launch vehicle yesterday.
