YEREVAN. – The first field assistant of the OSCE chairperson-in-office is following the situation near the battlefield.

The source of Armenian News-NEWS.am did not specify who exactly is at the line of contact. As reported earlier, personal representative of the chairperson-in-office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk is informed about the situation.

The situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone dramatically escalated on Saturday night. From regular shootings and frequent sabotage-reconnaissance attempts, Azerbaijan has now shifted to large-scale attack all along the Line of Contact, using a variety of weaponry as well as artillery, armored vehicles, and air force. Both sides have suffered losses.
