STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, on Monday received a delegation from the Yerkrapah (Defender of the Land) Volunteer Union (YVU), led by chairman Manvel Grigoryan of the YVU Board.

The meeting addressed issues related to the present-day situation and recent developments along the Karabakh-Azerbaijani border.

The President noted that the NKR Defense Army efficiently fulfills its mission and ensures the security of the state and the nation. 

Also, Sahakyan acknowledged the readiness of the YVU to defend the native land, considering it an exemplary manifestation of patriotism.
