Armenian Deputy Minister of Culture Arthur Poghosyan met Syrian Minister of Information Mohsen Bilal in Damascus.

The officials discussed cooperation issues between Armenia and Syria in different spheres. According to Syrian mass media, the sides placed emphasis on exchange of experience between the two states and rendering technical assistance.

Mohsen Bilal emphasized the Armenian Days in Damascus enabled the Syrian people to get better familiarized with Armenia. Syrian Culture Minister Ryad Nassan Agha stressed the need for further intensification of cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The Armenian delegation arrived in Syria within the framework of Armenian Culture Days in Damascus.
