Azerbaijani opposition parties expressed their discontent with the Baku authorities’ decision designating a list of locations for organizing pre election rallies.

Representatives of the Musavat and Umid parties, Popular Front of Azerbaijan and the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan stressed that the Baku authorities grossly violated the law – they should have discussed them with the organizers. In fact, the Opposition has been allowed to hold rallies at the same places as in 2008, and no progress has been made since.
