YEREVAN. -- Last night Azerbaijani side repeatedly violated the agreement on ceasefire reached on April 5, the NKR Defense Army reported. Armenian News - NEWS.am continues presenting the chronology of events.

•  NKR Defense Army: The Azerbaijani Armed Forces aside from using rifle weaponry and mortars, also launched two reconnaissance-sabotage attempts on the night of April 7. 

•  Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I  will visit the  NKR in the next few days . 

 •  Armenian Deputy FM: Azerbaijani army divisions intensively fired shots toward the Armenian armed forces’ divisions and the settlements located nearby Vardenis town. 

•  NKR Defense Army:  As a result of the close battle, the adversary was pushed back leaving behind the corpse of Azerbaijani Armed Forces captain, Naftalan town resident Vaqif Bayramov, who was born in 1979. 

•  The Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group are traveling to Karabakh from Baku. 

•  NKR Defense Army:  Statement of the Azerbaijani Defence Minister  that  “unlike the opponent, we do not fight with the women and children ” it is  the height of cynicism. We would ask the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to judge from the facts.  

•  Russian Federation Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov: All components for resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis already exist. 

•  Lavrov: We need to take measures so as to not permit the crisis to happen again in Nagorno-Karabakh. 

 •  Armenian deputy foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan: The negotiations will not be effective without Nagorno-Karabakh.
