YEREVAN. – In the early morning hours on Friday, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired shots in the direction of the Armenian military positions and the settlements in Tavush and Gegharkunik Provinces of Armenia. 

Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the press secretary of the Minister of Defense of Armenia, wrote about the aforementioned on his Facebook account.

“Karmir, Ttujur, [and] Baghanis villages were fired upon, especially from a 120mm mortar and an SPG-9 type of weapon [i.e. a recoilless gun],” he wrote. “Fortunately, there are no affected.”
