Iranian authorities have reported that the delegation of  theAircraft Corporation Boeing Co. will visit the country in the near future to assess the possibility of "probable cooperation" with the Iranian airlines, Gazeta reported quoting  Associated Press.

It is noted that representatives of the largest Iranian carrier Iran Air and smaller airlines will participate in a meeting.

Earlier, head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization Ali Abedzadeh said Iran is likely tosign an agreement to buy airplanes from Boeing. The company denies that contracts for the supply of aircraft will be signed during the visit.

Earlier, Iran Air has signed the contract for purchase of 118 planes with Airbus carrier. The company has greeted the decision of Iran to buy 118 planes for $25 billion.

The purchase of foreign planes by Iran became possible after removal of the western sanctions against the country.
