The Armenian side continues to work toward resolving the matter of finding and retrieving the bodies of the dead and finding out the fate of the missing, as a result of the Azerbaijani aggression.

The Armenian side is holding intensive talks with Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk,  Personal Representative to Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) representatives, to continue the process that began on Friday.

The ultimate goal of these measures is to set up the “everyone with everyone”—that is, the exchange of the dead and, if any, also of the captives—process.

The Azerbaijani side, however, is in no hurry to come to a respective understanding. According to some information, the reason is because, should it consent to this process, the Azerbaijani soldiers’ violations of the Geneva Declaration on Armed Violence and Development and of the international humanitarian law will become more apparent.

According to an agreement, all military actions along the Line of Contact between the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijani armed forces were suspended on Friday for five hours, to search for the bodies of the dead.
