On September 24, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki on the margins of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly. The Ministers held consultations on bilateral relations and regional issues.

Nalbandian also met with representatives of the local Armenian community, RA Foreign Office press service informed NEWS.am.  He met with Leader of the East U.S. Armenian Diocese Archbishop Khazhak Parsamyan, Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the U.S. of the Holy See of Cilicia Oshakan Choloyan, Chair of ACA (Armenian Congress of America) Trustees' Council Hrayr Hovnanyan and others.
