YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will accelerate the process of arms imports with the US$200-million loan from Russia.

At Friday’s Cabinet meeting, Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan will introduce the draft decision on implementing the provisions of the agreement between the Armenian and the Russian governments, and with respect to the Russian government providing a national export loan to the Government of Armenia. 

Considering this agreement, the Armenian government has given relevant instructions to several departments.
