YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan, with its aggressive actions, actually attempted to abandon its international commitments to settle the issue pacifically.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edward Nalbandian, noted the aforementioned at his talk Wednesday with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) member countries’ ambassadors to Armenia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Nalbandian reflected on the consequences of the hostilities which Baku unleashed in early April, and along the Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact.
“Azerbaijan (…) grossly violated the fundamental principles of international law, the decisions and declarations of numerous OSCE summits and ministerial councils, [and] overtly disregarded the statements by the leaders of the Minsk Group Co-Chair countries [i.e. Russia, US, and France], [and] regarding the settlement of the Karabakh conflict,” the Armenian FM added.
Also, he underscored the active role by the aforesaid countries, and stressed the need for supporting their respective efforts.
