YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 483.03/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is down by AMD 0.65 from Wednesday, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 543.65 (down by AMD 3.34), that of one British pound was AMD 683.20 (down by AMD 4.98), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.29 (down by AMD 0.11).

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 248.17, AMD 19,346.22 and AMD 15,436.59, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 250,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 482.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 482.5/$1.
