YEREVAN. – On Saturday morning, a delegation from the Russian Federation Council (senate) paid a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

The delegation members placed flowers near the Eternal Flame, and observed a minute of silence in memory of the one and a half million innocent victims of this tragedy (PHOTOS).

Commenting, at the request of a reporter, on the latest developments that occurred at the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, and on the remark that these developments have showed that the genocide against Armenians continues, Alexander Chekalin, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Defence and Security, said: “You yourself have said everything.”
