President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a law banning the display of the Russian films made after 1 January 2014, TV channel 112 Ukraine reported.
“The bill will enhance the level of protection of national security of Ukraine, decrease of separatist sentiments in the society and will uphold the authority of the state”, an explanatory note to the document stated.
