YEREVAN. - All the voters - even the servicemen -  will pass identification by fingerprints, Chief of Armenian Government Staff-Minister Davit Harutyunyan stated in the parliament Monday, while introducing the edited version of the new draft Electoral Code.

In case of electronic registration, the device will issue a coupon with the name, surname and patronymic of the voter, his number in the voter list and the time of voting.

During the voting in military positions, the coupons will mention no names, but numbers in voter lists. The fingerprints of the servicemen will also be included in the common database. Therefore, if the serviceman votes in a military unit, and then in a civil polling station, it will be possible to reveal the repeated voting by the fingerprints in the database (if a thing like this happens), Harutyunyan said.
