On September 29, Armenian Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan appealed to Diaspora, calling on each Armenian to spend his vacations in the Motherland once in 7 years. In this case, 1 m people will arrive in Armenia annually that will contribute to creation of jobs and economic growth.
Overall 600,000 tourists visit Armenia annually, with the majority of them being Armenians from Diaspora.
The Diaspora Minister also called on Armenians to make investments.
